This weekend was fun, but I need to write a proper blog about that, so you’ll hear about that later. First, though, some exciting news.
As most of you didn’t know, my Bose 530 tuner wasn’t working for a while. Specifically, the right speaker (pair of Infinity speakers of an unknown-at-this-moment model number, mostly ’cause I can’t be arsed to take off the speaker grille to look) was not putting out any sound. So I tried the cables and all, and discovered that it was in fact the right sound port.
About a month later (that’s today) I decide to move the 530 to work for a bit, so I can get better sound quality in the new office. Something’s funny about my new office, and it doesn’t work well with the Tivoli Model Two that I had in there. So anyway, I bring in the 530, and of course, the speaker still doesn’t work. Until I go to turn it on, and I notice a rather important fact. The balance slider is slid aaaaaaallllllll the waay to the leeeeeeeft. Slide it back to center, and I am overwhelmed by stereo-y good ness.
